For owners and brothers Brett, 31, and Ryan Stallard, 26, no name could better suit their cozy Italian restaurant at 18352 North Dallas Parkway. Specializing in northern Italian fare, the owners take pride in serving the freshest products available.
“What we do different at Modo mio is serve absolutely everything fresh and we make our own pasta, which is very rare,” says Brett. “We use the freshest and best ingredients to get the flavor we seek in the light fare we serve.”

Fresh fish are brought in whole and all veal and beef served at Modo mio is prime. All their Italian meats (salamis, pastramis, etc.) and cheeses (provolone, mozzarellas, etc.) are imported from Italy. Their desserts are made in-house and feature key lime, chocolate chip and Gorgonzola cheesecakes. All vegetables are fresh, and each meal is sautéed to order. “It takes a little bit of extra time, but you can definitely taste it in the flavor,” says Brett.
